I have purchased from Newegg for several years and have spent thousands there. I RMA'D a defective motherboard and they did not give me a full refund of my money which was $59.99 plus tax and also $12.01 shipping charges to send back the defective motherboard. They only refunded $26.74. My refund should have been $64.75 plus $12.01 shipping charges to send back the motherboard. This is a terrible way to treat a good customer who has been buying products for years an spending thousands of dollars. I don't deserve this. I ordered 2 pieces of memory on 8-3-2009 and it was shipped from Edison, NJ on 8-3-2009. I live only about 110 miles south in Vineland, NJ. It was sent by Egg Saver which is horrible because it is so slow and it sends your order in the wrong direction. It was sent to Elkridge, MD which is 120 miles south of me in the wrong direction. I normally would get my order by the next day by UPS delivery. I did not request Egg Saver delivery. It was pushed on me because my order had free delivery. I faxed and sent numerous emails requesting that they send me out another order but no one would answer my email or faxes. Newegg's service is really going downhill. I buy a lot of products from Newegg and I sure don't appreciate the lack of concern about about their lack of service to me. I have never had this problem with newegg before. They must be getting too big and they don't show any concern for their customers at all anymore. Newegg would not honor price advertised of $649 plus free 3 day ship. Offered me a $25 discount instead of honoring price listed. I placed a order with Newegg. After a month it was not delivered so I sent them an email. I was told since I live at a APO Address that it can take up to 6 weeks. I wait another 2 weeks and no delivery. I send another email and am told it can take up to 8 weeks, again I wait another 2 weeks with nothing arriving. I am now told to fill out a claim letter so they can file a claim on my behalf. What is that all about, I bought an items from them, I never received it and they act as if they are doing something for me by filing a claim on my behalf. I made a mistake by ordering from them. I ordered an operating system that was a system builders version, thinking this was just an OEM version. come to find out you need an install disc to even load the software. this disc did not come with the ordered system. You must purchase at least 3 to get it. However, nowhere in the add and description does it say anything about an install disc requirement. So return or refund because it was an operating system. Also the other items ordered had a mail in rebate. The outfit newegg uses to administer the mail in rebates only gets paid the total amount of the combined rebates, nothing more. So to make any profit they can only pay up 46% of the rebates mailed in. So if you buy from these crooks, you are lucky if you're in the 46%. It's DEFINATELY buyer beware at newegg. Over the past nearly 3 years, I spent over $7,000 at Newegg. I purchased items from ink cartridges to hard drives to PC cases to operating systems software to LCD monitors - 105 items on 45 seperate orders which were shipped in 50 parcels. Other than a sole problem I had with a well known brand name LCD monitor, I've never had any problems with Newegg, its suppliers, products, warehouses, or shippers. Newegg.com is very competitive on prices and shipping and have almost always had the best deal. If they don't have the best deal today, they may have it tomorrow.

I had been a Newegg customer for about 9 years and built over 12 systems using Newegg. That all ended recently when I tried to get my Radeon 4850 card replaced. I wanted to upgrade my existing video card and choose the 4850 based on customer reviews. The card gave my system glitches from day one. I tried changing out componenets and decided it was the card. I RMA'ed it back. After a long period of time and many calls to Newegg I was told they would not replace the card because the serial ID number was not attached to the card. I told them I did not remove the serial number. Newegg shipped it back to me. When I looked in the plactic bag guess what, the serial number was there but "somehow" became detacted from the card. I called and explained the situation and was told that I was beyond the 30 day return period. After explainig and arguing I became frustrated with this company. I recently need couple of cables, I only needed 2 but was going to get 6. The cables $2.99 which is a good price but they charge shipping per cable $5.99 for 1, $8.62 for 2 ... $15.94 for 6. Which is ridiculous, so I only got 2. I wrote a review for the cable and commented on the shipping. I got an e-mail from Newegg staating that they have 10 warehouses and the cables could be shipped seperatly. As if this type of response was bad enough, my review was never posted. I was a customer of Newegg for bout 5 years till, out of the blue, I was treated poorly. A mobo that I purchased was acting fundamentally flawed so I RMA'd it, got another, it was doing the same thing (and this is after trying out 2-3 sets of components to make sure that the mobo was screwed up). The 2nd time I tried to RMA it they basically said "Sorry, you're not our problem any more because it's been more than 30 days from the -initial- purchase." I tried reasoning with them, offering to pay the 15% restocking fee, only asking for 'store credit', explaining that I'd be buying up into a more expensive item. I got mostly copy & paste replies of them repeating themselves over and over again (at least I was getting a reply, I guess). So I decided to call them, maybe a 'real' person on the phone would understand, would see that I'm a good customer, would be able to make an exception. No.. In the end, I'm a number to them, they just don't care. I ordered a Seagate Barracuda 1TB drive from Newegg.com. After a month, I wrote a review on their website. I gave the product 4 stars (5 for the drive and 3 for Newegg.com because of poor packing). I received an email that my review wasn't posted and that "Please kindly note that Newegg dose not guarantee the packing of items, since it is warehouse business." But all Newegg DOES is warehouse and ship components. It's possible a reason for the DoA drive reviews on their site is being caused by sloppy packaging and drives being damaged in shipping, and not bad manufacture. The BOX it came in didn't show any damage, but opening it, the ONE layer of bubble wrapping had largely been popped, and the drive was in one corner because there wasn't enough packing peanuts. Beware of their non-refund policy on HDTV's - They will not accept returns for "Minor Dead Pixel count screen defects" Lately, Newegg is quick to sell but slow to deliver. Their free "3 Day Gauranteed" shipping offer is fraudulent - I confirmed with UPS that they shipped my order "Regular Ground" which became 7 days. That's poor customer service. Also, slow-to-no email service and absolutely telephone support. And they don't work weekends. Thumbs down today for newegg.

NEWEGG customer since 2006. Over $3000 in total purchases, and 4 purchases in past 3 months. Some returns but mainly due to changing my mind. zero DOA's so far, and no issues with NEWEGG's service. Regular shipping has always worked well and quickly for me. This is one of several on-line vendors that I intend to continue to use in the future.

Newegg is the most reliable seller I know of. I orders my p45 motherboard Q9550 cpu and Video card on a monday morning, and Wednesday when I got home it was waiting on me. Last week I also ordered my Ram and CPU heatsink from them, all came in perfect condition !! Thanks NewEgg!!!

Newegg is still number one!!. I haven't purchased much lately but when I do I go to Newegg. Before you make up your mind about Newegg read the negative comments carfully. Most of these unhappy people don't do any research to look for compatibility with their motherboard, chip set, etc. Save yourself some time go to the manufactures of what you looking at and see if it will work in your dream machine. DOA's are not Newegg fault , it is the manufactures fault !. Absolutly no online retailer I know of pays shipping for your returns, so get over it. Thats the cost of shopping online. Newegg has been good to me for longer than I can remember. Do your home work ! Thanks Newegg!!!
